The Pitch '26:19'
The idea for the film is it is set in the year 2019 and we
will see events that take place on the 2/6/2019 where the dead rise. The idea
is from Revelation 26:19 “Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body
shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the
dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead." This for me is the
perfect reason for a zombie apocalypse, where three friends who are out camping
for a weekend are completely out of their comfort zone, they have to try and
survive in a place they've never been before rural England. A place where there
is nowhere to call safe, so all they can do is try and run, try and hide ...
try to survive and find a way home. All they can do is stay together.
(They cannot drive; they were dropped off at the location
for the weekend)
