The Preliminary Task

Evaluation

The 180 degree rule, we used it to show dialect between
the characters in our piece, we hd to fim the characters on the same side, unless we used a pan and, or a transition to see the direction of a character as they walk.
A match on action is a zoom in on a certain point for example, how we did it was a package ( The Box) exchanging hands, through a series of takes but due to editing we made it look like it was seamless and done in only one shot.An eye line match is a focus over the shoulder showing two or more characters during diologue or just to show they are looking at eachother.
The film making process went well, we had to do a few takes here and there, but the main problem with the filming was having to wait for people to leave so we could start filming and make sure we have no continuity errors in the piece. Unfortunatly we did have one continuity error in our piece, in the scene in the conference room during one shot we can see a student on his phone, in the next shot he was not in there what looks like a seconed later. This is an unfortunate error but we now know for our main tasks to watch the background incase of any errors.
On the upside the college was a perfect place to shoot the staff were more than helpful allowing us to use all of the facilities we needed the college attair and formal students give our piece the spy look we were going for.
During the film editing on ' Adobe Premere' we learnet how to add transitions and titles as well as using garage band to add sound effects, we added the title 'The Box' we added mysterious sounds and music to add the effects of the piece. We tried to make sure we kept our pice as fluid and have as little continuity errors as possible in our film 'The Box'.
